Noticed a loud noise in the rear right after picking up my Cybertruck two weeks ago, decided to open the bed liner to check, and of course the bracket that holding compressor is super loose, with huge gaps in the bushings, which are looking like they are not big enough.
One more thing for upcoming service drop off along with other usual things. Crazy stuff I keep finding in brand new truck!

Apparently Tesla didn't find a noisy suspension compressor abnormal, from repair notes it's "within the specs" LMAO.
Tomorrow I will take the bed cover off and wrap compressor in foam tape.

Took the bed cover off and ran air compressor to see how bad is noise. To my surprise it ran more or less smoothly, so apparently those rubber grommets doing their job.
But when I lowered the cover back I heard something was transferring vibration to it and rattled.
I’ve decided to apply some insulation tape on air lines that stick out the most and on the bottom of steel support beam on bed cover in order to dampen the vibration as well as some insulation on top of compressor bracket.
It does sound quieter now, will check later on the road.

I just got my truck back from service after pointing out this very same sound from the air compressor. I went on a drive with a technician to reproduce the noise. While he saw that the truck was technically functioning as intended, he found the extra noise suspicious and wanted to take a closer look.

They found that the bracket for the compressor was loose, and they just tightened it. And thank goodness because that sound had been so annoying! They also fixed another small rattle coming from the left airwave module.

Totally quiet now!
