I took delivery of a Model Y yesterday. I made the order several months ago guessing that things would get delayed with the Cybertruck. First one occurred (obviously) recently. I think there will be more but 2+ years I don't know.
Congrats! We've had our MY 15 months now and still love it!

No this is a different truck. It has a painted grill and a black top on the tailgate. Also doesn't have door handles. We need @Crissa to go see if she can spy it in TJ parking lot. Yay I'm so happy we do get to see production version in sept!

It's filmed with a potato. I don't see anything that would tell me it's a different truck.

I agree. I don’t see anything that lighting, camera angles, or a cheap camera in general can’t explain. Still, I can’t discount the possibility it’s a different truck.

I am not saying CT is dead but if it was, how would you know?

I just ran those videos through enhancement algorithm. I can't share the results because it embeds user ID to prevent unauthorized use but I can share this.

I'm looking for the ever-so-slight four wheel steering in the bye-bye video.

(pareidolia probably)

In the second video, whats with the dark front of the vehicle it doesn’t look like it’s stainless, it looks different than the original prototype. I don’t think it’s a shadow because it moves when the vehicle moves.
Think you are on to something. At this week's National Drive Electric Week events some of the folks who seemed to be connected were saying the reason we have not seen the updated prototype is that the design of the front of the truck creates a hazard. If a CT broadsided another vehicle, the impact above the top of the door sill on a passenger car is a concern. NHTSA was mentioned, but I'd not consider this more than something that makes sense but is far from an authoritative report.

In very rough numbers, car doors are .7mm to 1mm thick steel (when steel is used). The CT uses "cold rolled" 30X stainless, so it's 3mm thickness is probably equivalent to >5mm of steel. Ford uses 3/8in steel in it's truck bumper brackets, which is ~9.5mm.

The front of light trucks are really a bunch of nothing plastic and flimsy supports, weaker than most passenger cars. The steel bumper brackets are designed to fail downwards and absorb energy. My F150 bumper brackets are very weak, sacrificial, parts. The CT is the complete opposite (from what I could see at the Petersen Museum). Makes sense that such a radical new structure would raise concerns from regulators, even if there is no specific rule on this yet.

Where are the videos and photos from the others around? I’m disappoint in their performance.

I really like to know about finished interior. I am all about the rolling office.

I keep my life simple, no mistresses. Only lie I maintain with wife, how much the CT will actually cost. I still tell her 39K when she knows better.
I conveniently 'forget' to convert to Canadian dollars when I told my wife the cost :)
