Panel alignment looks excellent. Appears to be similar to Porsche body panel tolerances, one of the best in the biz.

The assembly line workers must align 4 doors, frunk, 2 fenders, tailgate and 2 rear quarter panels perfectly on every build.

Elon made his expectations crystal clear with a recent comment regarding body panel tolerances.

Let's break down what's on the display here...

The right side of the screen looks like left view, right view and rear view, but what's on the left?

That rear view looks exceptionally wide angle!
To be honest, it does look a little cramped in there for Elon. The knees are almost touching the dashboard? As a tall guy that worries me..

I’m 6’2ā€ and was thinking the same. Im thinking that he doesn’t have the seat rolled back or reclined back and therefore he looks tight. Im sure that front seat has tons of room to slide/recline back. He’s just driving it like a nerd.. lol

If it's any consolation, the photos of the truck with his son's car seat in the back show that his son is riding in a Graco 4Ever which is one of the bulkiest car seats out there. His son is also forward facing so he would need additional space for his legs as well. With his son in that seat directly behind him, odds are he's had to move forward a bit to A) fit the car seat and B) give his son ample leg room. I have a crossover at the moment and that car seat will not fit with my son in it directly behind the driver's seat in a way that will allow me to drive at all. It's just too big. Normal sized people fit back there (my car) while I'm (6'1") driving in a comfortable position just fine.

On second glance it looks like he is plenty far forward and even the passenger is further back than he is so perhaps that's just how he prefers to have his seat adjusted?

I'm guessing he had someone fetch the truck so he could leave, and the seat wasn't in his normal position at handoff.

Many images exist with Franz (>6' tall) in the CT with ample front legroom.

It looks like Elon comes from the school of performance driving:

Maybe he just needs to put his seat back further? Some people like to be on top of the steering wheel.
