Virginia, Maryland, or North Carolina VIN Updates

I thought I would start a thread for the Mid East region to share any information. Anybody have any updates for our region? It seems like only special cases in our area have received so far.

I'm from VA, but living in Charlotte. Charlotte has delivered about 10 so far from what I hear. I think Raleigh is about the same, maybe a little less. Last I heard, there were 6 trucks at the dealership here getting ready for delivery. I heard VINs are assigned once CT gets to the dealership or in transit. Clueless after that.

I personally know of one person that lives in VA and picked up in Raleigh, NC recently. Reserved on 12/28 and no VIN yet (from VA). For some reason, I have "With or Without You" stuck in my head

Maryland. Nothing. Don’t think anyone has gotten a delivery there. Missed the March delivery window, so now we are in the late phase. I’m thinking end of the month.

It really does, doesn't it? <sigh>. I guess the silver lining is that more hardware/software bugs should be worked out before we get ours, right?

In the same boat (AWD 12/28, VA). I feel like NC is not as far along as is believed. The tracker shows only a handful from varying config dates, which leads me to believe they are VIPs of some essence. It looks like VA and MD has less folks in the December config range, which may be why us December folks are still waiting? I know it’s been said, but for me it’s the lack of information that is tough. I don’t see a lot of 12/28s outside of CA, TX, and FL…which gives me some solace. Anyone reach out to their SC recently?

In Virginia close to the TN boarder and picked up in Knoxville this past Friday. They said I was the 6th delivery there. Order placed 12/19

VIN received today.

I am not a VIP. We do have a Model X since 2018. Not a TSLA stock holder. Not an influencer.

I suspect average folks like us are coming up next.

That is great to hear, thanks for letting us know. I am hopeful VA is getting closer. I was told our trucks will all come from the same railyard.
