We have invite to order, but don't want the Limited-Edition Foundation Series

We received the invitation to place our order earlier this week. After nearly two days of research and consideration, we decided to not order the Foundation Series.

When we logged in to place our order, we selected "Start Designing", as shown in the screenshot. Foundation Series AWD and CYBERBEAST were the only options. The basic AWD is not an option.

We checked the FAQs and any other "Help" info on the Tesla website and app, but found nothing useful. How do we place our order for a non-Foundation CT? What happens to our reservation if we don't place our order now?

I checked this forum, and found various comments related to our questions, but they are within other threads and the advise was inconsistent.

This morning (26-Jan-2024) I called Tesla's main number: 1-888-518-3752

It took some time, but I now have an email from the agent (after they confirmed and cleared it with their supervisor), which states:

"This Order invite is for a foundation, the foundation series only has those two trims. If you choose not to order a foundation series, you can ignore it, and will eventually get invited for a regular CyberTruck Order."​

I asked the agent to tell their supervisor that this information needs to be included in the invitation to order, and should also be posted as a FAQ.

Until that happens, you have my post, and Tesla's phone number (which was another hard thing to come by).

Thank you for your post. I got my invite yesterday but have no need for the Foundation series accessories. I am going to wait as well.
