So seems it was air in the super manifold. They purged the system. Picking it up tomorrow and will test

Non FS 49xxx vin awd. From day one I had a noise coming from under the dash. I didn't have it when truck was cold, but after driving for 5-8 minutes I was always hearing it, especially at 25-55 mph. Noise never went away. It ended up with replacing a front drive motor. Now I have a similar but little different noise for the first couple minutes after starting driving, then it goes away and never comes back until truck is cold again. I test drove their demo cybertruck (very early vin) and it does have this noise too ( my "after repair" noise). So I guess, noise in the beginning of driving until a drive unit warms up is normal

After a long road trip a month ago, I started to hear a weird noise from somewhere in the dash area whenever my truck hits around 40 mph. It’s not wind noise because the noise will remain as I slow down to 30, but it will get louder as I increase speed until it disappears around 45. It will also go away if I make a sudden left or right turns while not decreasing my speed. It almost sounds like a fine crackling that you would hear scanning radio waves for an open signal. Not static, but weak crackling that could be coming from the front speaker, or possibly some sort of audible cavitation in a fluid line that builds pressure with speed? It’s definitely not coming from any of the other speakers, so I can’t definitively say it’s coming from a speaker at all, but it is consistent, repeatable and kind of annoying at those speeds without music on. I have a video, but don’t want to deal with uploading such a large file if it’s easier to just discuss it here.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I have exactly the same problem. ~40mph. Sounds like bad bearing. Took it to the service. They replaced the windshield. I didn't help. Now they want to replace the roof panel. Sound is comming from the dash area. Sounds like a pump noice at the specific speed. Defenetly is not related to the wind speed or direction. VIN # 51K

I have the same issue. 42K vin cybertruck AWD. I heard it when I took delivery. That was back in mid Oct. For me, it is loudest in the morning when the truck is cold.
I had to wait for my service appointment on Dec 9. They've had my truck since then.

@Guylouis Thank you for the update!
This was great timing because I was able to show the service team this thread.
They were telling me the noise is 'normal characteristics'. I don't buy it.

I'll keep y'all updated.

*UPDATE*
I showed the service center this thread. They reviewed it but also said the technician performed all known service tests and compared to other cybertrucks and concluded 'no abnormal concerns'.
I was frustrated so I went in to talk to them.
The people at the counter are pretty hopeless but I was able to finally talk to the technician.
He said there probably wasn't air in the manifold but he would purge it anyway. This process is very simple, we did it in the parking lot. We then test drove together afterward and the noise is still there.

The most interesting thing here is that he said he tested several different cybertrucks, 20K Vin, 30K Vin, and even 55K vin trucks that were just delivered to the lot and they all had the issue.
He recorded everything and he explained that his case would be reviewed.

He offered to let me ride in a brand new cyberbeast with 11 miles on it and so we did and sure enough, the noise was there.

So with that all being the case I'm hoping this is 'to be continued'
I'm hoping enough of us speak up and more and more technicians document it and Tesla hears us. The noise may be present in nearly all the trucks. But in my opinion it shouldn't be.

Thank you @GlossBullet for starting this thread.

I'm hearing a whirring noise from the front. I was thinking it was the heat pump. Wasn't happening when I first got it. You can hear it while in Camp mode too when its cycling on and off.

I notice the vents make a strange noise when they ‘wake up’… sometimes..

also my steering wheel squeaks very close to center position. (Back of steering wheel rub on steering column shroud.)

I should be able to fix this myself…maybe

My cybertruck was given to service yesterday. It was kept overnight. Rode around with the tech and confirmed the same sound I heard. To me it seemed more outward to the wheel well but it isn't.

They messaged back and mentioned they narrowed it down to HVAC and not drivetrain or suspension. They also noticed it goes away when the vehicle warms up. Everything else as others mentioned, starts about 40 mph and sticks around through regen or speeding back up. After a few miles mine stops making the sound.

Never tried that being I didn't think it was HVAC related. I wonder if camp mode priorities pulling heat away from electronics in camp mode. I usually precondition my cabin before leaving so it might also help eliminating the sound earlier in the drive.

I am also experiencing this same noise issue. I just noticed it when it started to get cold out, but I was unsure because I had my Cybertruck wrapped during this same timeframe and was wondering if a seal was removed and not put back in place. The noise from the video sounds 100% the same. My Vin 27K, and I have 6500 miles to date.

I was told to just wait and if it gets any worse they would do something more. To me just seems so loud that it can't be right. But I didn't engineer it.

I've had my truck approx. 2-months and brought it in for service because of this sound. In addition, my wiper was acting up and I had a terrible rattle on the passenger side subwoofer.

Make the long story short, after they replaced the wiper motor, subwoofer and front powertrain all the same problems came back. I am bringing it back for service again because the sound is getting worse. The Tesla team is still getting used to this truck, but they've not been able to figure out the issue. It sucks.

In addition, now I am getting terrible wind noise on both rear windows (even buffeting). As I get more updates I will share, but this is not normal. I've had 4 tesla in total, it's extremely loud in my cyber truck.
