Where does it say ALL Cybertrucks come with FSD hardware?

The screenshot provided by crissa clearly showed the $8000 was for the FSD HW only with ONE MONTH free trial of the SW. After that, one would have to pay a monthly fee to continue using FSD. I sure hope I am wrong because I prefer not having to pay $99/month to use my FS CT FSD.

It doesn't say that because they just do. There is no build option to remove it. And, if they did, none of the cameras would work.

I see the confusion from the screenshot, the 30 days is a free trial of the $8,000 option package.

All Teslas built since 2014 have come with the AP/FSD hardware (e.g., the inference computer and sensor suite). This includes the Cybertruck. The $8000 package is the current cost of enabling FSD for the life of the car. This comes with our Foundation Series package and means we will not have to pay a monthly FSD subscription when they finish training their models on the CT hardware and push it out to us via OTA update. I had the FSD-for-life option on my Model Y and I never paid a monthly fee for it.

As I mentioned someplace else. All Tesla cars made today have the capability for FSD. I wish Tesla would do away with the terminology of capability.

Sure, but Tesla will take a car that had FSD purchased, and at trade in remove it, and resell it to a new buyer with no FSD. Or it can be added at full price again. Leading to capability meaning something else.

I believe Elons goal is to have all cars with fsd, That is why it follows the car. So in the long term as car age even low cost owners will have fsd and the roads will be safer.

I called Tesla and talked to two different customer reps weeks apart. They both adamantly confirmed the FS CT only comes with the FSD hardware. You'll still need to pay for the software when the time comes to have FSD. Bummer.

Just to clear up maybe some confusion. I didn’t buy FSD. Notice how it says “Full Self Driving Capability Subscription”? That’s all that is offered on now on my 3. But the CTFS is the FSD on it.

It follows the car, because that's how resale value works for loans.

This is untrue and does not match my screenshots.

If you buy the Foundation Series, it says it comes with Full Self-Driving Capability, just like the $8000 option on the non-Foundation Series vehicles.

If you reserved before 2020, your price for FSD is locked in even lower.
