What to Use My $2500 Voucher On

So I received my $2,500 voucher to use in the Tesla Shop, intended for the Powershare Home Backup Equipment but available for whatever I want it seems. I already have an installed generator that's connected to a 1,000 gallon propane tank, so I don't need the Powershare.

So...what should I get with $2,500? The most obvious choice is the home charger for $450. That'll leave me with $2050 to spend. I've gone through everything that I would use and I only get up to $1800. That includes at least one item that is out of stock currently. Should I buy another home charger? Would I be able to resell it?

Another issue is the shop gives me a 404 Error when I try logging in. So that's great.

I am planning to use my voucher for the power share equipment and install it for my home. But I understand that I then have to wait for a download but no firm indication when it's expected?

I received an email with a voucher number to get the $2500 in the store. Looks like I just order whatever, be it the PowerShare or other things.

Personally I’d have checked what is in the store and what is actually available before rejecting PowerShare. Moreover, I have a whole-home generator and it is pretty noisy, embarrassingly so….and it is air cooled and can only run continuously for a couple of days. The CT will be whisper quiet and can run my house for days. If necessary the generator can kick in as Plan B. But to each his/her own.

People have said that the software is available and has been since May.
