Actually, he said "pretty soon" if I recall correctly. He mentioned non-FS trucks should start delivery sometime next quarter. Pretty much the same thing, but it is possible FS ordering will be turned off before July.

Also, in regards to the production volume target, Tesla doesn't generally consider a car to be in "volume production" until it hits 2500/week (e.g. 125k/year). So that's always been the initial ramp target. They have mentioned double that in the past, so I think their minimum long term target is 5,000/week. I would not be surprised at all if there's room in Texas for 10,000/week if demand warrants it beyond it.

Don't really see any concrete evidence that I will lose the 1K deposit. They said they would recycle me back into the non-FS line and that's what I expect them to follow through with.

They put you on hold until July 1st. What happens then? They typically make you commit or you lose your deposit at that point. I'm in the same boat, but changed to grey to buy time. Maybe I'll change to the dork wheels to buy more time. I'm wondering if they will make us buy a FS or lose our deposits. But we'll save 20k. My FOMO is over now, so I can wait.
