Actually, he said "pretty soon" if I recall correctly. He mentioned non-FS trucks should start delivery sometime next quarter. Pretty much the same thing, but it is possible FS ordering will be turned off before July.Ha! Sounds like my anecdotal guess was spot on after all![]()
Also, in regards to the production volume target, Tesla doesn't generally consider a car to be in "volume production" until it hits 2500/week (e.g. 125k/year). So that's always been the initial ramp target. They have mentioned double that in the past, so I think their minimum long term target is 5,000/week. I would not be surprised at all if there's room in Texas for 10,000/week if demand warrants it beyond it.
