Wife came up with a great trip once we are used to the CyberTruck.
NJ to WA to see her brother.
Then back to NJ but thru Canada. Looks like Canada Rte 1 to Niagara falls.
During the summertime. Dual motor truck should do it?
What do ye think?
Could ye do 500 miles or so a day?
Anyone done anything like that before?
Can ya take a dog into Canada and back out? :)
Dear TirNaOg,

Not sure about Canada's rules on dogs.
However, you will need passports now to enter Canada instead of just a driver's license.
Sounds like a great trip you have planned.
500 miles a day will be doable with good weather, but I would advise at least one 2-day pit stop along the way to re-charge. 10 hours a day is a lot of driving.
Enjoy your future trip.

Thanks a lot.
Ya guessed we'd need passports.
Aye I know 500 day might be a bit much. More of an aim. :)
Plenty of time to get the right music list together!

this leaves just 250km to get to ULURU

let alone having to do this before stArting to CONQUER THE SIMMO

and the song to inspire all to come and join in is this
Just came across your post here Ray. The Simpson desert is definitely a trip on my list.
Although we wouldn't be the first electric vehicles to cross it.
There were two EV converted Suzukis crossed in 2017 and I believe still hold the record for solar powered crossing of the Simpson Desert.
In case you hadn't seen this story: https://www.unsealed4x4.com.au/solar-powered-zooks-vs-simpson-desert/
Cheers.

Wow that looks nice up there. :)

We are now thinking, before that trip, we might try to go to mount washington first. :)
A test run trip.

Don't drive up Mount Washington , take the cog rail. I drove up once and it was very scary and stressful. 80 degrees at the bottom and blowing snow on top. There were periods of zero visibility and cars travel both directions. Yes by all means visit bay of fundy. Those pictures were from bay of fundy footpath and it covers several unesco? Natural locations. It is very spectacular!

What's the big deal with Pikes Peak. My mom drove her Buick
La Crosse up there from Arkansas, when she was 83.

I think pikes peak is over 14,000 ft. Mt Washington is maybe 6500ft but totally different. The weather is tremendous and varied.
The guy that taught me how to windsurf died in White Mountains, he fell into melt tunnel in March and they didn't recover the body till July.

Ha ha no not comparing the 2... I have never been up pikes peak but have been some of the rockies. The high altitude makes you tired quickly. Mt. Washington height barely makes your ears pop, but I down played how scary the drive is. One minute it was beautiful and sunny so we got out of car at pull off to look around and minutes later it was black and gusting so hard we couldn't open car doors to get inside. Lucky it only rained and gusted for about 2 minutes but it felt like an eternity holding onto car wheels
