In the sunlight, the white padded dash in my Cybertruck reflects on the door windows making it difficult to use the mirrors. Has anyone come up with a solution?
As a test, I covered the dash with a black cloth which helped.
When I have my vehicle wrapped this week, I’ll ask if the wrap shop has a solution.

Not a 100% solution, but dark tint definitely cuts down the severity of reflection.

Yours may not, but I have 5% all around and 20% windshield.
Ahh, well 20% on the windshield should help. I have 50%. Wouldn’t do anything darker than that since it’s hard to see out at night.

this is a good opportunity for an aftermarket carbon fiber cap for the top of this white dash. I know that I would be a buyer.

This, and the fact that I intend to be off-road most of the time with this rig are the reasons that I chose tactical gray for my Cyberbeast.

All of my other Teslas have white interior and it’s beautiful but those are sedans/crossovers. Blinding reflections are simply not acceptable when offloading.

As someone mentioned above, carbon fiber caps will be a great solution when the aftermarket catches up. As soon as available I’ll be purchasing if nothing else to make it a bit darker and cover up the unsightly lumps and ripples in upholstery from the factory.

I got 10% all around, 70% windshield, doesn't help much to be honest.
The majority of that reduction in the dash glare was the dark tint on the massive windshield. 70% is basically no tint in comparison to 20%.

I'm not rebutting you, I'm just adding another data point so people are more informed. We didn't want anything darker than 70% on the windshield because both me and my wife find it hard to see at night, especially on poorly lit South Carolina roads.

Interesting! I have never noticed that on my end. Have to pay attentions to see if that's an issue for me as well. As for now, it has not been that bad where it got my attention.
