They are already illegal I think. But of course, that doesn't stop shady chinesium companies from doing their thing.

I dunno. But the nag takes away my concentration on the road. I feel one day the nag will cause an accident.

Agreed and it’s no different than the fake seat belt clips. You just can’t fix stupid.
This one I would go to task with. My dog goes everywhere with me and the constant chime drove me crazy. Bought one of those "bottle openers" that just happen to fit in the seatbelt receiver and problem solved. Would never use one if a human was in the seat but they do have their purpose.

I would guess most people use it for humans (based on my extensive research 😁). But your case may be justified.

IMHO the seatbelt sensor in the CT is too darn sensitive! I have a work backpack that isn't *that* heavy, and it makes the seatbelt chime go off ... (in the front seat). I feel the front seat should be like at least 40 lbs of weight before it sets the seatbelt sensor on ... so I have a seatbelt clip just for use with the backpack...

Can't you just push the red seatbelt warning on screen to get it to turn off?

I didn't think so? it doesn't seem to work for me when I have tried to press it. that would be great! Maybe I am pressing in the wrong spot?
