Wife wants to add FSD to our Cybertruck

Hey now, future Cybertruck owner wants to ask a question -
My beautiful wife wants to add FSD to our order, but she worries that the change in our order will change our place in the production line.
Any idea? Go ahead and add to our order without fear OR yep, to the back of the line !!

FWIW I changed both my CT order (from Dual to Tri) and added FSD... my Reservation number is still the same...

What date?

What motor option (single, dual, triple) did you reserve?

If you're worried about messing with it just wait until your confirmation email comes in and add it to your order then. Of course, the price may creep up by then.

I don’t think it (FSD) was offered back then. It costs 10k now, understandably so. I just found my paperwork - Single Motor RWD, with FSD capability - order date 1/22/20

I added FSD after my initial order, my res # didn't change so I assume my delivery timeline didn't either

Yeah, I still see no advantage at all in reserving without FSD. Nothing lost to just cancel it later on.

You build your truck when they email you. It can be anything the Cybertruck offers. But, as their builds are broken up by 1, 2, or 3 motors; not so sure how that will factor in.

Your beautiful wife is absolutely right. As you age, as the world falls apart, or as you fall asleep at the wheel - get FSD. period. peace

Talking about a wife right after Elon Musk got divorced is not an easy subject about Tesla vehicles.

Don’t do it. Yes your reservation number will stay the same and we don’t even know if that number means anything but Tesla definitely acts like once you change your order they get to update pricing. Just place another order if it’s important to you to do now and see what happens. Also, you better believe that when you actually get to order they will be happy to take your $10k for FSD.
