All Tesla vehicles should auto drive themselves from end of assembly line then out self-load on the truck car carriers and train car carriers.

Vehicles Could Soon Be Driving Themselves Off The Production Line at Ford’s Cologne EV Centre
Over 100 years ago, Henry Ford helped pioneer the original production line and vehicles have been rolling off ever since. Now, Ford vehicles could drive off the line with no one at the wheel. We're exploring the use of AI-powered self-driving technology, named E-SELF, at the Ford Cologne EV Centre to transport vehicles around after final testing. The technology could make the whole process safer and more efficient – and allow employees to focus on more important tasks.

You know they trust FSD when it's doing that. Tho right now they use driving around to align the cameras.

It is weird that Tesla don’t do this.
Do you think they could calibrate the cameras on a test track?
Do you know if the calibration requires a driver?

Small easily predictable or programmable routes really do not add much value to FSD growth or learning.

While some party trick maneuvers may work well for shallow advertising optics or might easily 'wow' the uninformed viewer, they would not be any verification or demonstration of FSD autonomy for the wild.

Tesla is developing FSD for the real world and not just in specific locations, because the latter would be very easy, but also not very useful.

Maybe, on a track designed for it. They want to avoid over-training (over-sampling) too much non-real roads.

Yes, it currently does.

That party trick is quite useful though. If they can code it by hand it doesn’t detract from their primary strategy for FSD.
