Do you think the current chip (integrated circuit) shortage that is impacting all vehicle manufacturers will continue to the point that it delays Cybertruck deliveries?

Personally, I doubt the issue will be resolved before Giga Texas is ready to start CT production.

The shortage will last quite some time, this usually takes years to resolve.

On the other hand, Tesla seems to have secured supply to meet their ramp up. Their only public delay so far has been weather-related.

It is not just the chips. Battery needs a lot of work too:
True. Battery cell availability is becoming a major factor limiting EV production.

These 2 factors are going to severely slow the transition to electromobility. ?

I hate to say it, but it will. It’s hitting everywhere. We’re already planning for this mess at work. We’re good for awhile, but already planning for the worst, knowing it’s almost unavoidable.
