Picked up my truck last Friday and once i got on the freeway, I noticed a lot of wind noise coming from the front driver side window. Seems like a fitment issue, but I'm scheduled tomorrow to take it in. Has anyone else had this? Just wondering what I'm in for.

Thanks!

You might try installing the latest update, if one is available. Or recalibrating the window just to be sure it’s done properly. I had an issue with mine early on where I was getting significant wind noise from the rear driver side, but it wasn’t consistent. I tried recalibrating the window, but that made no difference. There was a software update a few days later and I haven’t heard it since.

There were two possible causes for me, but I can’t confirm which might have been the case.

1. It was in the 20s when this happened and it hasn’t been that cold since. It could have been related to expansion and contraction of the seals or panels due to the cold.

2. I would swear there were a couple of times the window didn’t fully roll up after a door was shut. It wasn’t consistent behavior, but I haven’t seen anything like that since the update I applied a few days after noticing the issue.

If you’d rather not mess with any of it, just file a service request and let the service center sort it out.

Took them two days. Everything they were trying wasn't working I guess. But it's all fixed now. They added some extra cushioning on the door sid and it's all good now.

I had the same issue and still do.. When I roll down the window and back up again I notice the outside trim sometimes doesn't sit properly. Most times it does so when I hear it I roll down the window and back up and most times it fixes it.

You didn't happen to take a pic of where they added the extra cushion did you?

Sorry its getting wrapped, It looks identical on each side, but they clearly stuffed something in the weather stripping on the driver side to make it more firm... You can feel the difference but wouldn't visually see it.. I'd take it in If i were you. Get it resolved now, It's not going to get better over time...

Service can do a window calibration. Straight forward fix.

Yes, had the same problem. Service Center window adjustment was a partial fix. I used additional weather stripping behind the CT weatherstripping to push it firmly against the glass to eliminate the noise.

I have this problem on the passenger side. Appears to me the door window sticks out further than the corner window glass. So it catches more wind hitting it. Have a service appointment next week.

On a long drive yesterday, I noticed you could hear the sound of cars on the passenger side, as they passed the window.

However, on my side, it was dead silent. It looks like the window is calibrated correctly. I’m hoping it’s not the corner window or windshield seal.

I just open window, run my finger in gap, close window and it's gone. The window seal slips behind window and not around grasping window which allows the wind to blow into truck.

Super late here but I recently noticed on my driver side window, it sounds like the window is moving or shifting within the gasket (when the window is closed). I hear it the most when driving over a bumpy road or when driving over a speed bump or a driveway curb. It just started about 2 weeks ago randomly so I’m not sure if it’s due to the colder weather. Brought it into the service center yesterday and of course they didn’t hear anything during our drive due to the smooth road we were on. They still have the truck in for some other items but will look into it. Hopefully they find something.
