Wondering if anyone else out there has this issue where a good 30% of the windshield is left unwashed after using the spray function on the wipers.

It‘s been challenging to take a video/picture of but today was finally the day!

It‘s a slow motion video and hopefully you can see the grime that is left on the windshield covering mostly the right side of the windshield.

Anyone else run into this streaky situation? Any fixes?

(The windshield washer fluid is topped right up)

Streaky windshield wipers were a thing before CT… it means you could use a new wiper.

lol okay, took delivery of the vehicle 2 months ago… by your response seems like it’s a defective wiper.

Same issue as you. Also agree not enough fluid being put on the window. The pump doesn’t allow it to fully get the whole window. Just like my other teslas it stops the spray before it gets the full window.
Think it can be fixed by a software patch, just need Tesla to figure out it’s not working like it should then they might do something in a year or two.
For now just stop by the gas station and use the squeegee to clean the window or take it to the car wash more often.

Got my truck 3 weeks ago. Same issue. (The only issue this monster has). The lower half of the wiper/ driver's side sprays pretty well. The top half just gets thin wet streaks that leave the passenger side pretty salty. Seems to be chronic based on other comments online. Weak/ inadequate washer spray. (Hopefully an online update, but might require a wiper/pump redesign).

Could be the nozzles are clogged. They are tiny pin-holes.

If one or more of the pinholes have opened up, then it would capture most of the pressure away from the smaller ones.

Sadly, true.

I would say it’s a recall issue because the wiper simply doesn’t work (except in the rain) and that is a safety issue.

I'd like to see squirts on the upstroke and the downstroke. Only spraying the upstroke doesn't seem to give enough time for the fluid to move around and saturate the surface. I've always been familiar with squirt control independent of wiper control. Sometimes in the ol Tundra I'd squirt a lot.

Took delivery of my NFS CT on 11/2/24. Same problem and location of streaks. Fluid sprayer nozels are not the best, and fluid volume is lacking.

For me, top half of wiper sprays well, bottom half is extremely weak and something seems clogged somewhere. It is added to my growing list of minor annoyances including rattling steering column, whistling front passenger window, tonneau that doesn’t like to close and water leakage in the bed.
