Just realized that the standard 35” tires aren’t rated well for winter driving. Living in Michigan, the winter tire package is really needed and seems like a good deal from the Tesla shop.
Does anyone know if the aero wheel covers will fit and/or look good with the winter tires (they don’t have the aesthetic notches on the sidewall that fit the wheel cover)?

Getting the winter tire package installed on the 2nd, will let you know. I hope they fit even though the aesthetic will be different. Ordered in September so I’m not holding breath they arrive as scheduled.

If you’re looking for real winter tires, the Tesla set isn’t. It’s an all terrain tire with the snowflake symbol. You’ll have to downsize slightly to 275/65 R20 to find winter tires.

So Tesla’s winter package isn’t good for under 45 degrees F? Explain…
I’m saying an all terrain tire isn’t as good as a winter tire in winter conditions.

Thanks, please let me know how you like it and if the wheel covers work. Take a pic.

Here’s what I found out about these tires:
Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires are highly rated for winter driving. They feature a Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake designation, which indicates they are winter-safe and provide excellent traction in snow and ice conditions.
Key winter performance features include:
• TractiveGroove Technology for enhanced traction in deep snow
• Aggressive tread pattern with multiple sipes for improved grip
• Self-clearing shoulder blocks that prevent snow and debris buildup
• Proven performance on icy and snowy roads
Drivers have reported excellent winter performance, noting that these tires provide great control on both packed snow and ice. While they are not as specialized as dedicated winter tires, they offer a versatile option for drivers who need good performance in winter conditions while maintaining off-road capabilities.

Seems good to me

The way the covers fit with a half inch gap all around, any tire will work.

I've driven in 2 winters now with Orig 35s ATs and haven't had a problem at all.

It actually looks great with the wheel covers. They fit even closer to the tire which makes it look more integrated.
Thanks for the pic.
Unfortunately it shows sold out for the winter package in the Tesla shop.

Thanks all, getting my Tesla winter tires installed this morning. September order date (used CT $2500 voucher) so glad I at least have some winter left.
