Wiper blade issue - blurry streak

Omg. My wiper fell off this morning in light sprinkles. Scratched windshield before I could turn it off. Kinda folded at the top edge then just disintegrated.

haha happened to me but luckily at the service center
they said the bolt was completely stripped. Not sure how.. I'm wondering if this is going to be an issue with use

5/2 Beast delivery with same wiper issue, amongst a few others. SC recently replaced blade and issue persists.

After 3 hrs of cursing I managed to reassemble the wiper blade. Which is great because they wanted to keep my truck for 3 days till replacement wiper arrives

An update.... service replaced the wiper blade. They placed the new one with the clip thing at the bottom held by the edge of the arm on the inside instead of it being centered. Looks wrong but when I asked the service guy insisted that's how it belongs. I put it back inside after I left.... this can't be right..... although my old one was inside and it curled and died.

Why is this the response that anyone has about this? Are you serious? Yeah just don't mind that the windshield wiper isn't working as intended, just live with it.

I do not understand this attitude that all problems must be overlooked in tesla vehicles.

The wiper should not be leaving any streaks on the windshield. Period. It's not designed to do so, and if it was then the design would be wrong rather than the individual part. "Oh it doesn't look bad, just live with it" is an absolutely ridiculous position to take.

Anyone else having this issue where the middle of the wiper blade leaves a blurry streak? Makes it really difficult to see out that area.

I have the same problem and it's even worse when I try to clean the windshield with the washer fluid. Ends up with streaks and in some respects worse that when I tried to clean it.

Have you tried getting it replaced yet? My replacement isn’t perfect but it’s about 70% better than before.

Using the fluid it leaves the windshield dirtier than it was before. There’s a big streak down the middle of the wiper’s path. The thing also makes a loud unpleasant squeak as it goes across the window, worse than nails on chalkboard.

I do have a SC appointment to have it looked at, but I’m worried the replacement will not be any better.

I just got my wiper motor recall done and the wiper blade rests inside the field of view now and the blurry streak is worse. Going to take back to sc for adjustments.

How long are you holding the spray button down? If you are only holding it down for two blade swipes like you could with a smaller blade/windshield then you are right. If you hold it down more like 6 swipes it will clean the window. Mine always squeaks on the last swipe on an otherwise dry windshield.
