My Boss didn’t see my Plaid and hit it with the work truck. As a joke I put yellow reflective stripes on both sides of new CT. End result, everyone likes it so it’s my official $$50.00 Amazon Wrap! ⚠🫶

Wow, that's a way more major "dent" than I thought it would be!

I like it! Added benefit of hiding any finger prints at the door edge too.

I agree with the others. It works! Kinda wish I thought of it. I suppose because the truck does have a reputation to be a hazard to fingers, pedestrians, etc.

Is that tape reflective? I have some reflective tape with a similar pattern.
Yes It is reflective. Got from Amazon. Cant miss it at night. And yes it is great for keeping finger prints t0 a miminum as added bonus. ITo me it also makes the truck look less tall if that makes sense. Optical illusion.

I like the stripes. Maybe a Max Headroom 20" into the future look.

How does your boss not see a white car?

I'm waiting for anyone to bring up the "finger hazard" thing IRL. My response will be, as opposed to other car hoods, doors that also lop off fingers? At least the truck will detect resistance and pop the hood back up, but I would never test it like an idiot. My infiniti doesn't do that, and you will lose the fingers.

As a toddler in the malaise era with tiny fingers and massive door gaps, I did have fingers flattened in the door of a Chevy Kingswood Impala wagon. Hurt like hell but didnt break em off. The door gaps on that thing I could also wedge said fingers into. But modern cars? Oh hell no...those fingers are "gone pecans".

Hmmm.. It does somehow strike up a Max Headroom vibe. \

I wasn't parked in my ususal spot. He felt really bad about it and offered many times to pay for repair. I did'y have heart to tell him what it would cost and I already had in mind working out a deal with Tesla for a trade in W/damage concession. Worked out for all. LOVE my CT more than the 3 different Model S's I've owned since 2015. Just wish they would made FSD a higer priority. They would probably sell some stale inventory if it was in parity with the S,3,or X.
