Nice! Are you installing for the first time or will this be a replacement?

I’m scheduled for March 21. I’m curious how easy it will be to take off/on since I’m wrapped and will likely need to rewrap in a few years.

I'm curious since I am wrapped and have a @Urander roof rack installed. Actually, i'm not curous...just kidding. I would have to take the rack off for them to do this...which is no small task for me...not worth it it in any way....

See if they will give it to you at service without mounting. Worth a try for a 2k accessory.

50k miles so far and our Cyberbeast light bar still isn’t trying to fall off… guess we’ll do the recall once it does 😂

The bracket is in addition to the adhesive (according to the update manual). So, like with existing bars, it is a semi-permanent install. The bracket is a safety measure.

Mine is still holding firmly without issue. Of course, I neber ceramic coated my windshield or anything else that may have interfered with the adhesive.

The light bar is more aesthetic than functional imo. Unless of course you spend a significant amount of time off road at night. It presumes the windshield will never crack and if it does, then the install needs to be done all over. It truly has no on road or daily use application other than aesthetics.

I agree. But the aesthetic look is still awesome. I actually only use mine mostly to show off how bright it is, coupled with @Urander 's light bar on a backroad somewhere to friends (or help my kids practice softball at night 😂). The two of them together project a tungsten-melting laser beam a good 200M+.

Dont get me wrong, it mostly does what they said it would do. Also, light shows.

Disagree, I use it reguarly; we have alot of canals near where I live. Roads not well lit at night. Everything from raccoons to rodents trying to cross the streets.

Idk about where you are but it cannot be legally used on the road in my state. It does throw light far, but its at a very high angle and is blinding to oncoming drivers. If only it had automatic off built into the UI.

This is South Florida and seeing 4x4s with light bars at night is very common. I have never heard anyone get a ticket over their use. I had a Jeep wrangler with overhead bars and was never bothered by law enforcement. I am respectful and turn them off to incoming traffic. I do agree that it is cumbersome to turn on and off. Wish there was a dedicated button.

I use mine a lot on back roads dodging suicidal deer. It would be great if they would work in the "if, then" update to include, if my brights turn on, then turn on frunk(UP bumper ditch lights) and light bar. Because handling that manually and being respectful of incoming traffic is cumbersome and at times more risky in itself.
