I'm curious how confident the homies who use this will feel. Seems like people havent been too happy with the distance measurements on park assist

What's frustrating.. is ASS uses FSD. It has too.. so.. can we please get FSD at the same time as ASS? TO me, logically that makes sense that it'd come out at the same time. But, we'll see.

Mine downloaded the update this morning. When I got to work, it was definitely the parking assist but I wasn't parking near any other cars, so the visualization wasn't that helpful. But, my point is that the downloads have started!

Basic Park Assist downloaded this morning for me.

Kinda nervous about autopark honestly. If it uses the same measurements as park assist, then we are going to have some funky and over-cautious parking jobs.

Got the basic park assist today also this AM, VIN 13900 range, in rural TX so wonder sometimes if my out there location delays me. Other times have got other simple features first.

If anything auto park seems like it would potentially fail/stop more often than needed since it way under estimates the front bumper space available or doesn't use that camera well yet? If it backs in typically, then perhaps it'll be more useful, as long as it isn't slow as molasses like other auto park cars.

Geez, I just got manual park assistant this morning. I wonder what the hell I am doing wrong to be so low on the distribution list. My CT VIN is 37xx
My download was for the park visualizations. I didn't realize there would be an autonomous park assist this weekend.

Basic Park assist is what I got today. Didn't mean to mis-report.

I am guessing that Tesla did not even design it yet to use the front camera and only the windshield camera as all other Tesla don't have the bumper cam. It will eventually make it's way, but it would be nice if they started more focus on the best capabilities of the CT

He didn't say anything about the CT getting ASS, just Autopark. ASS doesn't auto park, yet.

For those worried about the distances, they are almost the same as all other Teslas and park assist still works. It's too slow for me to use, but it's good, even with the exaggerated distance measuring.

Good point. He didn't say anything about auto park either tho. Just "We are glad that you finally learnt how to park yourself. Looking forward to you showing this off this weekend."
Which was a response to the comment "Teach me to drive" on a video of a Tesla driving to the owner down their drive way, not parking.

FSD and ASS do not park, so it's Autopark.

Tesla Cybertruck Autopark release this weekend for Cybertruck 1725464828299-85

And that comment was made on a video of a Tesla driving to its owner down their driveway. Nothing to do with parking.
