Nice! What’s up with that wooden low roof structure? Transit module? It’s spoiling CT’s dashing appearance. Please don’t tell me EU regulations.

Probably can't be sold in Germany due to not meeting their pedestrian safety standards.

So.... PR stunt?

Yea, wish they would ship that truck to someone that preorderd years ago. Having lived in Europe for a couple of years full size trucks really don't exist over there outside of industry and agriculture, they just don't have a transportation and roadway/parking system that is set up for them.

If it's licenced over 3.5t it might get around it as a light duty truck which range goes up to 7.5t. Would need a seperate drivers licence, but at least you could get it licenced.

Yeah, maybe. I just know that Tesla have said on multiple occasions that it would not be sold outside of NA for a variety of reasons including stricter ped safety standards.

Per their current filings they also have zero plans this year to produce the trucks outside of Texas Giga.

Well the CT is still on the Aussie website, so it better be coming here!
I even got a call the other day from them offering a discount on another model while I wait for the CT.
So looking good still, will just take a while.

I am about 2-3 years away on the reservation and also got an offer to buy a new Tesla and get a discount.

It's surprising it's going to be offered in a LH drive configuration. It's going to be a hell of a long wait for you guys for that...

Good news is they still have those wheel covers. I legit won't buy one unless they have the wheel covers, it completes the entire look of the CT.

Then it’s about time they came clean and cancelled all overseas reservations , keeping us hanging midair isn’t a good look for any company.

I don't think it's a secret that there are no plans at present to sell it outside of the US.

They didn't cut off pre-orders for IP addresses, etc. outside of North America until sometime in 2022 so perhaps you got your reservation in before they started doing that.
