Exactly what I came to say. Stop recording in portrait. Ruined it, look at the horizon, its full of CyberTrucks, I’ll record a sliver of it.

I'm beginning to suspect they are putting something in the water to make people stoooopid. It's the only thing that explains this new trend by a segment of society to always hold their phone vertical. It's like they don't even decide which mode to record in, they just hold thier phone by the bottom like perfect zombies and record. It's just bizzarro.

I want to punish them by rounding them all up into a movie theater for the release of a widely anticipated new movie release. Tell them they have a free private showing, a month before the general release. And then crop out most of the right side of the screen and most of the left side of the screen, leaving just a narrow strip of the movie visible in the very center of the screen.

This was pretty cool to see.

However, phones do need to come with assistant software that suggests format improvements before you record.

I don't want to be that guy, because I prefer horizontal as well. However, you have to film in portrait if you want to use the same footage across Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok, etc

And I know this from experience because I get yelled at anytime I film horizontally.

I'm not much of a social media user, but I know Youtube allows horizontal (landscape) videos (duh!) and I thought X and Facebook also allowed horizontal videos. I don't know about Instagram. I do know TikTok only allows portrait videos for reasons perhaps only their Chinese owners can explain, that's why I don't watch TikTok videos. Just silly.

What awful taste in music. That X takeover clout-chaser guy has poor taste

I like Man Cave Mikes version in that it shows tail lights. I cannot imagine coordinating all those owners - would it be entertaining if they parked alternating front to rear where tail lights showed also all down the line?
