Tesla Cybertruck Issue: Climate keeper unavailable due to system fault (can't set cabin temperature via app) IMG_7617

CT has been amazing on this road trip. This AM I tried to remotely set cabin temp and it failed. After getting in truck I had that message. Everything works, just cannot set temp through app.

Service states it shows internal cell fault in compressor. To bring in ASAP to see if there is a loose connection, or if compressor needs replacing.

Will keep thread updated. Taking to service tomorrow!

lol! I'm not too worried! Worse case I'll ask for a tow! I was going to a work site so I could have one of my guys pick me up if anything happens. Thankfully I had no issues. Just this app thing with climate! I am almost back home! Currently at last SC stop!

That's because out of the ones shipped, we get to see basically every fault, sometimes in duplicate.

Every new model has shakeout issues. We'll never hear from the vast majority who never have problems.

ive done this song and dance twice before, i know.. But i still won't be roadtriping for the short term, till we dont get a report of it happening at least once a week to a new owner. in 2 cases it happened as they were driving off the lot.

It's a short road trip for me! I believe there's probably 3k on the road now and we hear a few people with issues. Mine is 2,2xx and was available for pick up since 2-26-24. We'll see what happens at Service Center!

I got this knowing there's kinks to work out and I am ok with it!

Have you rebooted?
Have you let the truck sit overnight with Sentry disabled?

Both are known to fix ailments.

Press and hold both scroll wheels in until the screen goes dark and in a few minutes you will see the T screen as the computer restarts.
When the vehicle is left alone, it goes into a deep sleep, lots of things get reset when it comes out of the deep sleep. Sentry mode keeps it from going to deep sleep.

And FYI, the reboot is just the control and entertainment computer. You can actually reset with FSD turned on driving down the highway. And the vehicle will happily keep driving. (That's of course if you had FSD). You basically lose audio and turn signal indications while rebooting.

Rebooting fixes most weird problems.
Deep sleep fixes many really weird problems. Especially if they are new issues or Sentry turned on.

I just got home! Here is my trip and weather was high 40s in am to 60s in afternoon! some heat & some ac usage! Overall pretty decent weather.

Round trip from Far West El Paso to Big Bend National Park (Rio Grande Village to be exact) and back. 1 round trip to Terlingua and back from BBNP.

definately some hills but again nothing crazy!

Took I-10 to US-90 to US-385 S

Same exact way home!

846 Total Miles
342kWh
Avg 404/Wh/mi

I did drive faster on return! Around 80MPH. Overall I am very very happy with how it did and range and all. Truck drives like a car, and parks like a smart car. Owning a quite a few cars within the last 2 years I am pretty impressed. Also numbers CT gave me were very realistic always within 1-4%

I do not drive like a maniac but get on it once in a while.

Overall and I only speak for myself I was very pleased and exceeded my expectations. I had read people getting 200 mile range. Maybe in freezing weather?

I feel CT calculated % very well based on elevations and such.

In most cases I reached my destination with a higher % than CT originally stated.
