I had a "Safety restraint system fault" alert pop up on the screen stating that Service is required. Tesla added this to my small but growing list of issues. About a week later the alert went away.

I had that come up on my Y. Sometimes if the seat belt is pulled and then it locks and won't retract back or it loses tension it will alert. If you pull the seat belt and let it retract it will go away

Feel like the errors are getting out of control, seems like they are the norm not the exception. Hope Tesla can get these under control.

These are all pretty minor issues/teething pains and to be expected. I'm just glad I haven't seen any issues that are harder to remedy and that are somehow inherent to the design and engineering of the actual Cybertruck. Tesla will certainly iron out the issues, probably mostly through software, but perhaps also by replacing faulty electrical components.

As to the frequency of these issues, people need to know that they are not as prevalent as it may appear to forum members due to the principle that people with an issue tend to participate in the forum while those with perfect Cybertrucks tend to not post that everything is working 100%, in fact, they may not even post anything at all, they are living life and driving their Cybertrucks. I've seen this play out over so many different brands/models in dramatic fashion. Just know there are lots of people having no real issues who would be here posting their experience if they couldn't use their truck, or it was unreliable. We are seeing a scattering of early issues from a few thousand who have already taken delivery.

But, yeah, I encourage people who can't stomach the risk of being an early adopter to cancel. Never buy anything you are not comfortable with.

Problems get reported, nominal function does not, very true. With such a small number of vehicles reported it seems like an unusually high percentage of significant failures compared to legacy auto and even compared to Tesla early production.

We have a few items to be worked on. Save the screenshot, and the time. I prefer to bring a bunch of the minor issues to them all at once vs. as I discover them. Never like to be a constant nag.

Being on the front lines with a new product is never fun for service, sometimes it isn't fixed right the first time as processes are being developed. So being a nice and understanding customer always helps. Any nice token of appreciation goes along way with service.

Why isn't this truck perfect? Sir nothing is perfect. It should be! Why is that sir? I paid 100k for it!
