Was thinking it may need to go down the door a little bit further. Will be interesting for those with trucks to comment if this covers where the fingerprints accumulate or if it is below that point. I like the idea though.
we started with it 'further down' the door - but it looked too obvious, so we trimmed it to the top. This doesnt look bad now!...and training yourself to 'close the door' on the ppf works.

here is us testing two different lengths, both longer versions, didn't love them. Cutting it at that first body line is best:

Thanks for posting the photo. Good context and I agree with you now that the other length does look better.

I’ll start with a version of “to each his own.” And, I think it will depend on your pickiness. I thought about creating a solution like this a couple months ago and applaud the work. Pretty close to spot on with what I would have recommended and I agree after looking at the various lengths that they nailed it stopping at the bend.

So… I don’t see this working for me as there are enough fingerprints that accumulate at other points. Also, Totally just a me thing (but maybe a you thing too), I don’t like the clear coating look that there is something present in just one spot. If it’s noticeable that you’re putting something on, why not throw some accent color or flare that doubles as a fingerprint catcher. Finally, and more of a question, will dirt/grime accumulate around the edges of the sticker. If so, that won’t be pretty. And that would again support more of an “accent color” approach as opposed to using clear/transparent.

Edit to add: And again, nicely done solution. I just speculate it won’t work in practice based on what I’m seeing on my truck.

Nicely done and congrats for being first to market!

I've been working on a idea using the Matrix Black vinyl I put on my B and C pillars basically trying to make it look like they are extending down. I'm hoping that the obvious material will attract people to keep their fingers in that area. Of course, it could have the opposite effect.

This looks more out of place then the fingerprints do. Terrible look.

Ordered. The shipping was surprising though. Guess my previous orders were enough that I never noticed ?
