That was outside my garage, a local ambulance was passing by the house... LMAO
I was gonna say cause the lights are enough by themselves with a fake siren you’re definitely going to jail if you ever turn that on! ????

This is another company using other people’s artwork designs. The picture that they use is @Unpluggedperformance running boards and so are the wheels. But that is not what they are selling at least with regard to the retractable running board.

Good grief this kind of crap needs to stop!
I hear you. Not a good practice. Very misleading. That said, I included the website because I personally got good service from the guy and liked the work he did.
The fiberoptic lights look way cool in my opinion.

Just installed it.. I also have the XKGLOW lightbar on order.. LOVE IT!!
Been looking at that one too. Looks awesome. My only reservation is the bracket it’s pictured with in the pre-order marketing stuff.
it looks very nice but I’m not super excited about giving up the front mounting points and it looks like it requires that.
the Tesla oem bar or the current Chinese gadget all the YouTubers seem to be suction cupping to glue to the windshield leave these open so you can still put a rack/crossbar on.

So now that you’ve had for a little bit, how do you use it? Just to show off when parked or do you drive with it doing something?
Sorry for the late reply, I was out of town..
So far, oddly enough, TODAY was the first time I actually used it in public. I was at a traffic light, the light turned green for us. I was in the right lane on a 4 lane street. I always wait a few seconds to see if someone is gonna blow the light cross-bound, and sure enough, a Toyota pickup came through at a high speed, T-Boning the 2 cars to my left which had already started forward.
A HUGE, airbag-deployed TA ensued. I had just got back from VACA and had no radios with me, so I dailed 911, got put on hold, activated the blue/red strobes, and blew a quick u-turn and blocked the road with the CT, opened the Frunk, grabbed my trauma kit, and was off to the races.
I treated 2 ppl on scene b4 the PD & FD arrived, and the Montgomery Sheriff guys were blown away by my truck and how great the lights looked!
I just wish I had hit the horn to activate the cams, would have been a great piece of evidence... lol

Pretty cool. Strong work. Was just wondering if people drive with the colored lights on.

Probably not the greatest idea at this time, even if innocuous like green/white, etc... The less attention we draw to our Teslas right now, the better. These anti-Elon nutjobs, without a lick of sense or realization that CT's have cameras, isnt stopping them from doing what they are doing in the misguided hope that it hurts Elon somehow..

I struggle with that. I’m never really sure if it’s ok to lay low because of someone else you disagree with.
My kids for example go to a Jewish school. We are not terribly religious but it’s who we are. When there was a ton of anti-Israeli sentiment in the last couple of years I found myself thinking, is it really ok that I’m sending my children here and “drawing attention” to them being Jewish? I mean, I’d feel horrible if they were targeted over a fight they have nothing to do with.
Then I thought, is this what I want to teach them? That it’s ok to hide who you are or at least not wear it on your sleeve proudly just because there are assholes in the world.
Ultimately I left them in the school because I settled on the latter. More importantly because they were happy there.
This is also why I’m not selling my Cybertruck which I love.

Sorry if I spooked you all with the borderline political talk. All I was trying to say was that I’m going to put whatever light I want on my truck otherwise I’m letting my life be run by people I don’t agree with.

Oh, I totally agree with you.. I bought the damn truck because I loved it from the reveal, and love it even more now that I have it!
And I have the right to drive it anyplace I wish, and show it off anyway I wish. And I will take advantage of that ability, regardless of the 'assholes' out there right now.
I was just suggesting that it might be a good idea, over the next few weeks, to not draw TOO much undue attention to our vehicles until they grow up/smarten up and realize they aren't hurting Elon. They are (however mistakenly) frustrated and lashing out at what they consider within their power to do so. It will hopefully die down and fade away quickly.
