Decide only after test driving one. I am in love with mine, the way it drives, the space, the utility, even the look. Ask around and see if someone will let you drive theirs, wherever you live. I would say SURE!
I have done two overnight test drives and I do love the CT. 2nd drive was to get my wife on board. I still have not heard back from Tesla as far as delivery so they must have their hands full or they are having some difficulty

Cool. Have to decide for yourself. I think you will love it, but that is me loving mine.

I am seeing many Youtube posts making the case for the Cybertruck being a total failure and even surpassing the Edsel as the worst new car failure ever.
I have a Foundation CT on order, awaiting recall repairs for the cantrail issue so I haven't received my CT yet.
I am growing concerned that maybe this purchase is a mistake. The FUD is working.
Also, I am thinking if I hold out a little longer, until the 1st quater earnings call, maybe there will be some serious additional incentives on the CT if Tesla really does need to start moving these trucks due to super low sales and all the issues with panels falling off, etc.
I would sure appreciate the community's feedback on this.
The MSM lie about the truck. The truck is absolutely amazing. The recalls were minor. Scratches can be buffed out unlike painted vehicles. The political unrest will die down probably in 6 months.
For Tesla to sell millions of these trucks the price needs to come down. If the tonneau cover, steer by wire are removed, only one motor, and common shocks installed the truck price might go down where its reachable for everyone. That's when we'll see $250K trucks sold per year.

Hands down the best thing I have ever owned. As long as you’re somewhat comfortable going against the flow, you won’t regret buying it. There’s nothing like it .

I love my truck. Best vehicle I have ever owned period. Yesterday I read an article saying that it had a horrible depreciation. When I read the article the guy paid 102k and sold it for 88k after a year. I have a small fleet of vehicles, trucks and millions of dollars worth of equipment. I find that 14 k of depreciation over the course of year on a new car to be very reasonable. There is an incredible amount of pressure in this world wanting ELON and TESLA to fail. Tesla does not advertise. They don't have to. Drive the truck and if you are not convinced it is a good deal walk away. Self driving is a magical experience and I routinely drive the Truck from Springfield, MO to Jonesboro, AR without touching the wheel or brake or gas. I have never owned a vehicle that makes children and old people smile. I have NEVER been given a thumbs up just because of the vehicle I drive. Nearly every customer in my store asks about it and 99% of the comments are very flattering. Good luck in whatever you decide. The Truck is not for everyone, but I guarantee you are getting a way better deal than 95% of the people on this site.

I love my CT, best auto I ever had. I get mostly favorable comments on the CT on the street even though I live in the most left leaning part of Florida. I just regret that I did not get the FS.

Correct. A business flop doesn’t matter to the end customer as long as they enjoy it the product they purchased
The Acura NSX was also a business flop, and it’s now an icon that commands a big price.

I think that the negative revues and the multi city demonstrations against Tesla are financed by persons that are shorting the stock. The CT is a GREAT auto/truck and I love it!!

I absolutely love mine. Owned about 2 months now. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Thought my wife's MY was a great great car until now. I drove her MY this weekend and I was like WTF, I have to turn this damn steering wheel so freaking far, this sucks! Ha

Just drove a 500 mile trip in mine and not a single issue with people. Greatest automobile I’ve ever owned. Compared to the deals now I paid so much for my AWD, and yet still, I have absolutely zero regrets. Everything online has tarnishes the CT, but find me an actual real world owner who doesn’t love their truck, they don’t exist. If you’re not worried about what others think, buy the truck, you won’t regret it.

Coming up on 20k miles in 1 year of ownership and I simply love my Cybertruck for so many reasons.

Turn off the media and do what makes you happy.
As someone who recently acquired the vehicle in question, and was bombarded by negativity prior too acquiring the vehicle, and as long as you had firm reasoning for wanting the CT, I would do it again. Albeit I’ve had the vehicle 3wks and as such could only give a limited review.

The vehicle definitely feels satisfying to drive and the interior is less cheap than the proclaimed YouTubers proclaim. The features have been working well with no issues. I had to request another appointment to have them address the cantrails post recall as fitment is lacking. So this is a nuisance but hopefully minor issue.

If you are worried about what others think though you might have issues, it is still a polarizing issue in some conversations, but on the road I’ve had no issues, 2 positive incidents.
I too have acquired mines 3 weeks ago and have had nothing but positive experiences minus one random Old guy flipping me off as I was driving in a parking lot. Kids love it as I constantly see them on my Sentry coming to look at the truck or have their parents pick them up to see inside. One of my friends neighbors kids actually come over while I was at their place at asked me to take him for a ride which I obliged. All and all I love my truck and glad I didn’t listen to the FUD because I was close to cancelled my offer when the camtrail happened. Now it’s a thing of the past.

Just as people are paid to protest influencers are paid to influence. If you know people that own the truck talk to them. I personally love mine the only thing I would have done differently is that I would have waited longer mostly for the unlimited supercharging but there was no way of knowing. I have a dual motor foundation series that’s 11 months old and has 18.5k miles.

I’m going to be direct:
  • Don’t listen to online and YouTube reviewers. Remember most will post controversial stuff to get views. If they just posted, “it’s great” people wouldn’t watch.
  • Just focus on yourself and why you chose to purchase it
  • The Cybertruck is such a phenomenal vehicle. Best I’ve ever owned (for context, I’ve owned Tesla Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, etc. ).
  • All of the negative stuff you read in main stream media is negative for a reason: they want Tesla to fail and are against Elon

I need to start a YouTube channel and get some followers so I can cash in, people will believe anything.
