To draw the connection, we tend to have a more aggressive government and regulatory regime in the golden state, including what seems to be banning clear windshield washer fluid. To be fair, my kids were young once, and I wouldn’t want them mistaking it for water. But they do like blue Gatorade….hmm.

Not just the clear stuff. Use to work in auto parts and some windshield washer fluid we sold in stores outside of CA couldn’t be brought into CA. Mainly anti freeze/deicer washer fluid.

EDIT: just checked Adam’s. Yup, it’s cause of the anti freeze/deicing agent.

Thanks for the correction & good to know for the future. Maybe there will be hope for a clear one in CA at some point.
