Just for flexibility, can it be installed over a wrap for a temporary color change?

From what we've been seeing, it probably can be applied over vinyl, but not over a PPF, which is thicker. I'm going to perform more tests on this.

We will be offering a thicker and higher energy front protector and tailgate protector that will be designed to be placed over an existing vinyl or PPF finish to protect those films against rock chips and bug impacts. The thicker magnetic material will compensate for a weaker bond with the vinyl or PPF barrier between the surfaces while offering additional impact protection.

Do you want to know the price difference between our current front protector versus a thicker version with greater adhesion? If so, the price increase would be negligible.

Some people are uncomfortable with the DIY aspect. The magnetic wraps consist of large pieces, especially in our newest kit with fewer seams. You will most likely need another person's help to hold each piece steady and lined up correctly against the corresponding steel body piece before setting it into place. Theoretically, a person could do it alone if they roll up each piece, line it up precisely with each steel edge of the body, and slowly unroll the sheet onto each section of the steel.
