Yeah. If that location next to the plate is feasible with the stock bumper, I’m sold.
I don’t see an obvious path like that though. That said, I have never removed the stock bumper and therefore waiting on the install video.
Think I found a good choice of water heater though.

I should be getting both when they ship. I'll look at the concept if installing it first even though I'll be installing the bumper as well.

Thanks. It takes advantage of our ability to do 240v. The 5.5kw seems like it would produce a hot shower in most climates.
Also seems like it’s not very picky about orientation which I think is an advantage in this scenario.
price also seems pretty good to me

My initial plan was one of these but they seem to be permanently out of stock.

Got the $150 Costco one but it’s been confiscated by the wife’s model x. Man is that thing fun!
We live in Arizona and the kids ask me to blast them multiple times a day. They first get a little misting and then I hit them with my little wolfbox blower. Even in Arizona that will make you shiver quickly.
Best $150 I have spent in a long time.
This is the badass little blower I’ve been infatuated with recently. More potent than I thought for sure.

On my travel trailer (TigerMoth) I have the Yakima RoadShower and it’s great. But for my CB I’ve purchased this:

https://waterport.com/products/4-gallon-day-tank

Initial idea was that I could attach it to the bed divider and use it from inside the bed. But now I’ve realized that a better plan is to simply carry it in the bed and put the mounting hardware on my Mars Rack.

https://waterport.com/collections/tank-mounts/products/universal-mount

Then it drops in and I’ll have an external hose and tank and no effect on range during driving.

Your plan looks good, but I already have stuff that I keep in my smugglers bay and I don’t want to change that. Also, I just prefer the simplicity of a pressurized tank over a pump.

Why? Doesn’t the pressurized tank kind of fade quickly?
It’s a hand pump on those waterports right?
I had looked at one of these also.

Nice and flat. Thought I’d hang it on the l-track area
The one you sent looks like it hangs on the tow hitch pretty nicely.
@CT_AZ_4x4 loves the hell out of his Yakima roadshower

Does not drain quickly in my experience.

I don’t use a hand pump, I use this portable inflator (https://a.co/d/4ndVq5n) or I can use my cyber compressor it has a Schrader valve just like the Yakima and takes up to 40 psi. Also, this one apparently can be pressurized just by using your water hose during filling, and as a third option, it has a filling cap that has a palm/hand pump built into it.

Are there any plans for medium duty rear bumper?

Or perhaps medium-light and medium-heavy duty versions? Lol
JK. Sorry for the snark. I just feel like those are largely marketing terms I’ve never really understood.

Good point. I’m asking because I don’t expect to utilize a heavy duty bumper; however, I would prefer better angles. (I can’t justify $3k for it though.)

You could drill holes in the stock bumper, or our kit locates it under the tow hitch cover. The tow hitch cover is easy to take off and on with a coin in 1min. It does not prevent using the cover.

In our past experience, making cheaper, lighter duty ends up with customers who are let down and wished they purchased the better version... We have no plans today for a cheaper rear bumper, only a Front bumper.

We also have a folding staircase that can mount on the backside of the drivers side swing away coming to make it easy to get in the CyberCamper

With respect to the rinse kit bladder, I think I’d rather have it in the vault or even straight down under the bumper than under that hitch cover but I also can’t think of a way to route it out of the subtrunk area into the vault easily. Anybody have any ideas?
Do you think drilling into the stock bumper near the plate is a major operation ?

Drilling the stock bumper shouldn't be a problem, its all plastic. I wouldn't put the mounts into that though. Find something solid under it to actually mount to.
