Tesla Cybertruck Air Cruiser RTT — why it’s clicking with Cybertruck owners Screenshot 2025-06-13 at 22.17.12

Hi Everyone,

We’ve had a lot of Cybertruck customers come through and buy our RTT, the Air Cruiser, so we thought it was time to introduce ourselves here and tell you a little about it — especially as so many of you seem to value gear that matches the Cybertruck’s innovation and design ethos.

The Air Cruiser is genuinely a different kind of rooftop tent. We’re not here to trash competitors (there are some great tents out there, and it’s fantastic to see the market growing). Everyone has different needs when it comes to camping — more choice is always a good thing.

But I think the Air Cruiser is resonating with the Cybertruck community because it feels like a natural extension of the truck itself: innovative, clean, highly functional, and easy to live with.

Here are the big things Cybertruck owners tell us they love:

? Instant setup — no poles, no rain fly.
Just plug the tent into your Cybertruck and it fully self-assembles via our Air Frame system. Take-down is just as effortless — press a button, and the tent collapses back down. No messing with poles or awkward canopy work. It’s very cool to see in action.

? Lightweight and compact.
It’s the lightest in its class. You can install and remove it solo — no need to leave it on your truck full-time (which many Cybertruck owners tell us is important to them). The small packed size makes storage and handling a breeze.

? Massive internal space.
This is one of the biggest differences vs. other RTTs. The Air Cruiser has record-breaking headroom — 1.45m tall inside (most RTTs are ~1m or less). You can kneel, stand, change clothes comfortably — even kids can stand up. The tent feels more like a treehouse or cabin in the sky than a traditional RTT. The shape is more like a pitched roofed cabin rather than a box or sloped wedge. Huge windows and skylights give incredible views and a bright, open feel.

? Premium details.
Thoughtful features like blackout blinds (no zips), a thermal peach-skin mattress cover, and a clean, modern aesthetic give the tent a premium, well-finished feel.

? Serious performance.
Some people initially question whether an air frame can perform as well as a poled tent — but in fact, they often outperform them. The frame is pressurised to 7 PSI with highly engineered 5-layer tubes. It performs incredibly well in high winds. One big hidden benefit is zero wind flap — the structure is so taut that you avoid the flappy fabric noise that can plague many RTTs (and ruin your sleep).

? Why it fits the Cybertruck so well:

  • Matches the Cybertruck’s clean design and tech-forward ethos
  • Lightweight and easy to remove — no need to keep it on 24/7
  • No visual clutter — packs down very small and sleek
  • Innovative Air Frame technology echoes the innovation of the truck itself

Happy to answer any questions — and if you already have an Air Cruiser on your Cybertruck, please feel free to share your pics and experiences!

P.S. Quick heads up if anyone’s interested — we’ve been selling out monthly and are currently sold out again. Good news: the next batch lands on June 26th, and even better news — we’re offering $600 off MSRP if you reserve one with a small, fully refundable deposit.

MSRP is $2,999 (which is already a strong value for what you’re getting), but with this offer you’ll get it for $2,399 — a bit of a steal considering what’s on the market.

You can check it out and reserve here: ? https://air-cruiser.cinchpopuptents.com

What rack is he using for over the glass? I think I’ll go the cyber tent / 2 bedroom setup so I need the whole bed available for the cyber tent

Hi, I’m really interested however I don’t have the “Mars Gear rack” I don’t like it…but I do have the full x4 racks from Tesla. I saw that you have it at the bed of the cyber. My only worry is that I have the spare tire on the bed.
So what would be the bed support for the tent in that case? I can see everyone has the “Mars gear rack”. I refuses to install it…any ideas please. Advise.

When is someone going to come out with one that can be kept INSIDE the bed (like attaching to the side rails) so you don't need to buy a bunch of stuff that goes ABOVE the bed that will reduce your mileage when it's all on? Seems to me that there could be a tent that is able to sit above the bed itself, BUT when collapsed, is completely UNDER the tonneau cover so it can be closed up!

Oh well... Maybe we'll just wait for some cheaper 'powered' trailers... I see pricing on those coming down in a year or three... hehe...
