USB Powered Storage and Footwell Lights

I wanted more lights in the cabin so I used the Govee USB powered LED strip lights intended for a small TV. These are cuttable so I had the idea to light up the storage box as well. I was able to use the aluminum channel in the box and the entire length of the footwell. I threw away about 6" of the excess strip light. The controller is mounted via pre installed adhesive tape to the side of the storage box. Since its black you can barely see it. Only the driver can see a portion of it. The underside of the storage box is where I mounted a USB hub to power it and other things + my flash drive 512GB. The hub has a 2' cord which is perfect to reach the USB port in the glove box. The white dash trim is perfect to hide the cord and is not visible at all.

The storage box straps to the screen mount which is very solid as opposed to the magnetic one. I used a small piece of channel that is held in place by double sided 3M adhesive. I took my time and routed the wires so they can't be seen and stay out of the way. I also used a connector in case I need to remove for some reason. I need to tuck the wire better in the one pic :-(. The photos make it much brighter that to the naked eye. It can animate on sync to music but most of the time I just use a matching color to the ambient lights of the truck.
