I am interested in purchasing a Cybertent (preferably new). Just checking to see if anyone has one for sale or know of one for sale. I don't have a Facebook account so can't check FB Marketplace. I'm in N.C. so it would need to be shipped to me unless you are nearby.

Thanks

What part of NC? Want to check out one of these first before you decide on the OEM version?

Otherwise, I would actually suggest buying one from a forum member here that has one and never or rarely used. I've seen quite a few people sell them.

I'm on Oak Island. I have looked at the Mar's tent and it looks amazing. I want a tent that will fold up in the bed as I would camp infrequently. Thanks for the info!

How will you deal with hvac in the tent? Or is that not an issue for you?

cool deal. if anyone wants to link up and check out the aeroblade from Mars Adventure Gear, let me know. happy to showcase it.

setup and teardown time is literally less than a minute. It's amazing. but, definitely see the allure of being able to tuck the OEM one away completely in the bed of the truck.

I remember one forum member post pics that he uses an Ecoflow Wave 3 (portable AC) with his Cybertent. It fits under the tent, and he has the vent pump air into the tent.

Probably would go with the Ecoflow. Would like to use the CT hvac.

We looked at the EcoFlow Wave 3 as well, but decided to hold off. We were also looking at the CampStream kit for Cybertruck that plugs a rear window and uses a hose to bring the cabin HVAC into the tent (Cybertent for us). However, they shut down earlier this year before going to production.

On another thread, some time ago, a member posted pics of his homemeade version of the CampStream product. So, I borrowed his idea. About $150 later, I have a working unit that we have used for both AC and heat. However, we will probably only need it for AC, when it is needed.

A sheet of corrogayed plastic sheet, a couple of dryer vent hose quick attach mounts, some wing screws, and insulated dryer duct vent are the main components. I added an inline, low power, adjustable fan to increase airflow. Made great use of in in Kentucky a few weeks ago returning from an unplanned trip.

Wow, nice job!

So, just putting the hose in front of the vent (and with use of the fan) was enough to pull enough cool air flow into the tent? I would've thought the airflow would've been anemic traveling that distance to the tent...

That is why I added the fan, otherwise it was relying on the truck's vent. When the cabin reached temp, the vent would shut off - which was not helping. I wanted a steady stream of air to keep the tent comfortable. I stopped putting it in front of the vent and now just sit it on the center console and works just fine.

I just added a second fan on the other hose that would be inside the tent to improve airflow and give us a bit more control inside (there is a remote fan speed dial on the fan). The fan's pull very little power. However, we learned that we need to manage the cabin temp a bit more closely to manage the truck's battery. We were up in Kentucky on the way back from an unplanned trip to Ohio (took advantage to get some more camping in). It was 92 degrees there, but we were able to get the tent cooled down at 5 pm in about 30 minutes by setting the cabin temp as low as it would go - but then left it there for the next four hours without thinking about it. Nice and chilly in the tent, but used 10% of the CT's battery doing it. We set it back to 68 degrees after that and only used another 6% until we left the next morning.
