Will it automatically switch from cooling to heating when the internal temperature drops too low? I'm thinking from the standpoint of maintaining medications at their desired storage temperature.

But in reality the traditional cooler holds more cans or bottles, no battery drain, and ice is almost free.

Yeah, Georgian version. Very rare here in the US. Less than 100 in the 2010 census and over half were refugees. I'm named after Ekateriné Dadiani, Princess of Mingrelia.

I don't know of any ancestors from Georgia or the area, but there is an Ekaterine back in the 1400s. We don't know her ancestry. Just that she knew how to do the books for her Danish merchant husband and was his second wife.

I like that it dumps heat into the cabin instead of a tiny enclosed space.

price is steep…if there were two usb-c’s instead of a usb-old that would (sort of) help.

If this was priced 100-200 dollars cheaper and had usb c it would sorta make more sense. Using usb a for any product in 2026 is insane.

How is the power supplied? The existing 18L refrigerator utilizes the 120VAC behind the center console (first inefficiency, HV battery is DC), then converts it back to 12VDC (second inefficiency). Some folks McGyvered a DC-DC buck converter 48 to 12 VDC to avoid double conversion.
