So Cal Long Beach EV Festival was a real banger

First time using an Ionna charger. It works, nothing exciting.

So, I just had the dreaded PCS failure. Tesla is giving me free supercharging, but the closest, Montage supercharger, is 150kw. Next nearest are the Wilkes Barre 250kw or the Mt Pocono 250kw, 20 or 30 miles from me. The EVGo in Daleville hasn't opened yet.
We're always up near that Sheetz, shopping or dining, so I'm looking forward to trying that one out just for the sake of convenience! Additionally, the Ionna chargers seem to be 25% cheaper than Tesla superchargers (probably because we FS folks are subsidizing all of the 'free' supercharging that Tesla gives away).
Also, the app did not offer the new service center near the Allentown airport, so I had to choose between Warminster or a couple in NJ.

Beautiful scenery! Btw,are those Michelin Defender LTX Platinum? How do you like them? Are the quiet and energy efficient? Overall, how do you rate them as compared to the factory AS? Thanks!

Yes they are.
They are more energy efficient and might be quieter but the stock ATs didn't bother me.

For most people they are probably a better option but I will probably go back to the ATs even though they only lasted 35k miles.

The AT grip (EV grip) is slightly better, the launch grips better initially, and I tend to just go down a dirt road every once in a while and play. I don't think these will have any problem in most environments but I have that worry in the back of my mind.

what max kw did you get?

I get the full 350kw(close to, don't have my exact numbers) but I choose Ionna over Tesla in the locations where I need to change because Telsa is still gen 1 in those places.

Didn’t feel like dealing with FSD being degraded by bikes on the hitch rack. In addition to the two bikes, vault has a 6.5 FT whitewater kayak, inflatable kayak (Kokopelli packraft), Cybertent, camping gear (kitchen box, dry food box, 55 quart cooler, firepan, large 2-burner stove), bike tool case… lots of fun was had by dad and daughter over our three day, dual-sport weekend.
