Blindspot monitoring update, visually impressive! :-)

This week I noticed they have updated Cybertruck Blindspot monitoring. Now the highlight colors on the front dash and side door light up red when there’s a vehicle in your Blindspot. Now I don’t have to rely on that little tiny blinking light in the A-pillar. Awsome!

It works alongside that feature. It only happens if you try to indicate in the direction of someone in your blindspot, not anytime someone is in your blind spot like the speaker lights. Perhaps that’s why you didn’t notice it.
I also initially thought that but then read the description of the new feature word for word.
So wait till someone is in your blindspot and then indicate like you’re going to change lanes into them. You should see it then.

The only other thing I would add is that it turns red so I don’t know how well it would work if your accent light color is already red and also synced to music. Mine is blue at baseline so quite an obvious change despite the music sync.

It actually activates when using FSD and the vehicle decides to change lanes. It will indicate using the signals even when trees a blocking vehicle, and the new red strip lighting comes on.
