I did all this in about 10 hours , hardest part is to handle the tac , my film being super gloss and my preferred brand of choice due to glossiness.
If film is having less tac then honestly I could have finished the whole truck by now.

I wasted about 20 feet due to trial and error.

The 2 big tail pieces are the hardest part.

Another major issue, garage has to be Air Conditioned , purchase a portable A/C if you can, to keep urself cool if you are in southern part like me boiling in Texas.

Did you watch any DIY videos before you attempted the wrap?
what was the best / informative video?

I watched some TSportline videos ... Best informative is try on your own ... since all vinyl are different, like the videos I saw they pulled the whole backing sheet and were still able to move the vinyl on the surface very easily ... so it makes you feel very easy ... my vinyl is super tacky ... it just glues the moment you peel it off the backing ... so I had to do it in portions ... I will put some youtube video ... I am not a professional youtuber but I did my best to capture few panels ...

Give me another couple of days ...

Where did you get your wrap? Also, did you use a heat gun at all for the edges or just squeegee it on? Nice work! Looks great

From Amazon but its not like I just picked up any random, I knew which brand to buy.
It all depends what finish you want, like I had in my mind GLOSS Black ... hence I went with this brand, if I had something else in mind then I would have gone with some other brand.

I used heat gun to wrap around edges, my video which I will start posting from today in steps ...
from wash prepare to install will show all that ...
heatgun edge wrap is MOST easy and satisfying part of the whole project , you cannot go wrong with that.

This looks so sick... Very well done congrats. BTW how difficult was it to remove the plastic panels over the wheels. Any particular video on YouTube did you liked the best for your guidance.

Much respect to you sir for taking that on. The truck looks great. I went with the GIoss Night Sky color and I love it. It’s basically gloss black with coloring that up close, looks like a starry night. I don’t have the patience necessary to DIY it so again much respect.

haha, I know , I could not gather courage to put another 4-5 grand for wrap. I would rather change color multiple times with 2nd round of DIY …

That makes perfect sense. Even if the first attempt didn’t work and you had to order another roll, you still would have saved a crap ton of money. You could change the the color every month and still have saved money.
