Locking the Smuggler's Bay subfloor storage in bed vault?

Just got my Beast 2 days ago and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I've prefer driving around with the cover open as I don't currently store anything in the bed but I do want to store things in the smuggler's bay. I've noticed with the tailgate closed that it is very difficult to open the bay door (but not impossible). I wish there was a locking mechanism on that smuggler's bay door. Anyone know of a decent third party option for this?

There isn’t a lock I know of currently for the smuggler’s bay. Perhaps you can set your vault to auto close during vehicle lock and reopen it when you’re driving in the meantime.

I've been unable to find this option in the menu. Does anyone know if you can set the tonneau to auto close when the vehicle locks?

Did you ever figure out a way of locking the smugglers bay? I was thinking maybe a bed liner/ protector might work but I haven’t really looked deeply into those.

It might not be the best looking but one idea is grab a cable lock with a loop on each side and 2 pad locks and run it across to tie down hooks on each side.
or grab a cable lock with a self sinching lock on it and look it in them. A thief probably couldn't get it open much with the tail gate in the way
