We've had our Cybertruck for almost 4 months and it's been the go to vehicle for pretty much everything. We're ready to retire our other gas car (we rarely drive it) for a second EV, but we're not sure what.

I just want to hear what your ideal second vehicle is to the Cybertruck and why? Or maybe the CT is all you want/need?

Here's where I'm at:

Cybertruck 2: Return to Cybertron - We half-joked about getting a second Cybertruck because we love it so much, but it seems somewhat impractical since we both drive together most of the time. What are we gonna do, caravan in 2 Cybertrucks everywhere we go so we can both drive? Also, not sure if 2 will even fit in our garage.

Model 3 - I traded my 2022 LR in when we got the CT, and it was such an awesome vehicle. Would buy again. Probably Highland Performance. I eyeball these every time they drive by.

Aptera - If we really wanted to lean into the unusual looking vehicles. But I'm 6'5" and not sure I'd fit. Looks sweet in black, insane range, solar panels.

Ioniq 5 - We rented one and it was a lot of fun to drive, and I love the look.

Rivian R3 - So cool. I'm not sure what 80s nostalgia buttons in my brain they're pressing, but they pressed them.

Fiat 500e - Beep beep, fits anywhere, nice small compliment to the big CT, but small size is a concern.

Lotus Eletre - Bit of a splurge, but LOVE the look, so it's on the list.

Personally I’d go with the M3P. Test drove it and it’s an incredible vehicle. You simply cannot beat it for its price. Especially with the federal tax credit. It’s a 10/10 for me. If I didn’t get the Beast I most likely would’ve grabbed the M3P instead. Hell I might end up grabbing one soon anyways lol.

However the Ioniq5n is also an incredible vehicle. Always catches my attention when I see it on the road. The fact that you can “downshift” and it has an “exhaust” is sick lol. I’d stay away from the fiat 500e. They barely manage to sell a couple hundred of the regular 500 past couple years. There’s gotta be a reason for that.

Just picked up a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV. Got a 2 year lease at too good of a price to pass up. Gotta say after a week of driving, Chevy hit it out of the park. Gets WAY better range than the CT and way cheaper than the MY (similar size). For a daily Monday through Friday car, it’s fantastic. After 4 months with the CT, the attention was too much for daily use.

I have the 22 M3P as my Uber machine. Quick and nimble. Rocking 100k miles now and still love it. I’ll keep it when I finally get my beast to keep the miles off the truck. I’m tesla bias so myself I’d stay away from the others just bc the charging network and they don’t seem as cheap to charge like a Tesla. Eg hummer, easy to cram more batteries in. Maybe in a year or two I’ll get a MSP or just another M3P or CT RWD to Uber in will see after I get the beast.

In addition to my CT, I have a Highland M3P. I believe this is the perfect combination. Oh, and a Harley…. :)

I have a MS. The CT is pretty slow compared to most Teslas, so that gives me my thrill.

I still love the yoke, but wish it had SBW.

I would totally jump on a model 3 with SBW.

Where we live - 4 seasons, paved and dirt, miles from an interstate — redundancy counts. Toyota Land Cruiser, and or Tundra do well especially when you have a 500 gallon fuel tank on site. Reliable electricity (city, village, rural, to wilderness) is now clearly vulnerable to outages or even multi-day shutdowns, perhaps more than anytime in decades. May redundancy last. As for the CT it is the incomparable daily driver! After 6 years in 3 and X…

Need a real 7 seater SUV with 400+ miles range with access to Tesla Superchargers. Model X is not a real 7 seater. Probably Rivian R1S! Also checking Lucid Gravity but that looks more like a crossover than SUV, also 3” shorter than R1S.

Had a M3LR as a loaner while CT was being wrapped and it felt like CT was the spaceship and the M3 was the escape pod!

M3 compliments the CT in a great way, like I’d love to have one for when in dense urban environments or beach cities!
