You misinterpreted the meaning. I have no problem with anyone's choice for gender intimacy. I only disagree with their choice of "logo flag". The rainbow should belong to everyone IMO.

It does belong to everyone. That's the literal meaning of the flag.

It's used to mean that humans come in all colors and flavors.

The flag for gay people specifically is a an inverted pink triangle, stolen from the Nazi badge; intersex specifically is yellow field and purple circle; trans is the pink-sky blue-white center bands to represent a spectrum of gender identity; etc.

The rainbow means everyone who can consent is accepted. Gay, straight, trans, black, white, etc.

There are always those trying to divide us. (Hence the Philadelphia flag with black and brown bands, and the Progress flags with the chevrons of other ribbons.)

Acceptance shouldn't be political. Get mad at the bigots for saying the rainbow was stolen.
