Biggest concern I would have (and I’ve had caliper covers on my last two vehicles) is the durability of the “decals”. Either being able to see it’s a decal or having the decal fade, come off, chip, whatever makes me hesitate. I get the configurability, but this is a pretty harsh area and I wouldn’t want to worry about what it looks like in 6mos or a yr.

I will spray a clear coat (auto paint quality) over the decal…..that will make rhem last longer.

Just make sure it is high temperature rated clear coat or else it will yellow and peel

Just ordered mine w/express delivery! Great discount! I was going to go DIY but with prep time and materials (paint, tape, overspray, etc) using the covers is a no brainer. Plus if I want to change color I can just remove cover and paint/powder coat myself without having truck out of commission...just remove cover and do it away from truck. Nice job, will send pics once installed for others to see.

Now, if you had a version with high-temperature thermo-chromic paint, I would be interested in that. Could see, at a glance, when you are over-using the brakes.

Someone else is selling a silicone caliper cover with 'decal' printed onto the silicone.
Anyone, including @Cybergear, have any thoughts on silicone vs these (which I believe are aluminum)?

You can choose to apply the decal or not, the caliper cover itself has no emblem or text on it, also a smaller version sounds interested
