I received my reservation request to configure my cyber truck. It’s extremely expensive for what I get. Doesn’t qualify for a rebate to drop the price. $91,010 is overpriced, there is no negotiation. Buy it or leave the queue. Any + feedback requested. I also needed FSD as I’m 75 and soon wont be able to drive safely. Included in order is a charger.

Yes, I thought of that, but to be truthful, I need it daily.

It is a lot, but what other vehicle would bring you the same features/experience that is available? Nothing really close, to me that’s why it’s worth the cost.

Considering they were offering AWD for $49,000 when ordered and FSD for $7,000. It increaded beyond my predictions, almose doubled and NO $7,000 rebate, nor Maine’s $2500 as well now. It’s a big bite for a retiree.

If you want an electric vehicle that’s a truck you can get a Rivian R1T and save $15k. You could also get a lightly used one and save even more. The F150 Lightning is also a great choice with steep discounts.

If you want FSD you should switch to a Model Y or wait for the Juniper revision. You’ll save tens of thousands and get most of the same functionality sans a truck bed.

6.6 years pay off @ $100/mo.
It will take many years for an $8k spend on FSD to make sense as compared to $100 per month subscription.

U see, I live in Maine. Trucks make the most sense due to variability of use. A Y would’t make as much sense. U can’t just load a bucket or two of loam in a Y.

Well I was trying to hope it wasn’t a troll post, but now that we all know this is a troll post we can just move along now.
Consider renting one when you want and are able to drive it. Consider using the rest of your funds toward uber credits.

1st of all, I was sincere and not a troll! U’re accusation, kind of pisses me up actually. if everyone on the site was as hostile as that then there wouldn’t be anybody left on the site.
The second thing is, we don’t have Tesla dealers in Maine. We don’t have Tesla service centers in Maine. We have to drive past Boston in order to have either one. That’s a very long drive for a lot of people, especially those that are employed. So I just can’t go rent one when I want to. There is also no Uber here. I live in Naples, Me. Rural tourist town that closes up after Labor Day.
no one should interpret my recent post as I don’t like the cyber truck. I just feel a little bit switch perhaps is the best word I can use you know you advertise a vehicle for 49,000 and then you sell it for 90 I mean really. Where is our business ethics. And then I don’t even qualify for rebates.

So then don't buy it? Everyone on earth would have loved if the $50k dual and $70k tri motor prices had come to pass. But they didn't. So there's nothing anyone here can offer you. You can either buy it, or you can not buy it. Your first post you asked for additional feedback. There's no secret backdoor where you are allowed to negotiate or where you get a discount.

So what would you like people to suggest to you?
