Drag racing is pointless, lol
I guess you could say drag racing is pointless, now that we have vehicles like the Cyberbeast and Model S Plaid that can beat multi-million dollar supercars.

Unless you happen to be driving a Plaid or a Cyberbeast.

I think it's hilarious how, for over a century, motorists have spent months worth of wages to shave tiny amounts of time off their 0-60 mph or 1/4 mile times. The speed and hp numbers were endlessly bragged at parties, sports events, etc. People would replace cams, carburetors, transmissions, add turbos or superchargers, put in higher flow rate injectors, run oil that was thinner for a slight edge. And now that an off-the-shelf affordable electric car or truck can walk away from highly built engines, or a million-dollar supercar, all without using mods, special performance chips, special fuel, nothing but an electric vehicle right off the showroom floor, now a lot of motorheads are acting like 0-60 mph and 1/4-mile times just aren't important anymore. Fast and powerful is boring. Now it's all about the noise it makes doing it.

Yeah, right! OK, got it. :ROFLMAO:

Wreckless driving I assume?
Which vehicle code is that?

From the article:

The drivers of both the Lamborghini and the Tesla were charged with Racing and Stopping on the Highway. The driver of the Lamborghini was also charged with two counts of Improper Lane Change.

They got lucky.

also it's this code:

https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title46.2/chapter8/section46.2-852/#:~:text=Reckless driving; general rule.,be guilty of reckless driving.

e: I didn't even have to look it up, it was literally in the article:

https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title46.2/chapter8/section46.2-865/
