Does anyone have information of when a "Smart Ring" will be available for the Cybertruck?

You mean like these? They should be ready sometime in I don’t know 2020. ?

All of these work on all of my Teslas including the cybertruck. Tons of companies have these for sale the silver and gold one are actual silver and gold and are from this company:

They do. I have one and it works great on the CT.
Hello and thanks. Could you give me the name of the ring supplier from where you obtain your ring? . All of the sites that I go to only have rings that service all the other Tesla models, but not the CT. Thanks again

CNICK. Same company as posted earlier in the thread from Amazon. They work on all the Tesla vehicles. They make them by using actual Tesla car keys and thus they work on all Tesla models since they all use the same style key.

Yeah the best majority of these are simply made by dissolving an actual Tesla key card with acetone to get the RFID chip out and then installing that in a ring.

OP, any key card and thus any key-ring will work with any Tesla that uses card keys. The cybertruck not being expressly mentioned is not an indication that it doesn’t work, it is simply because it’s a new car and they haven’t updated their marketing.

Also, all key-cards can be programmed with multiple vehicles (simultaneously) I don’t know if there’s any limit on how many but I can say, with certitude, it’s not less than 6. That lies to these rings as well.

You need to understand that this is only a change inform factor. They have the same internals and work exactly the same as the cards.

That’s why the vast majority of them are just ceramic. It’s a tough material, that allows the RFID to work seamlessly.

For those of us who are not women and do not have purses to carry a key card in these are a great solution. I don’t have space in my wallet for a key card - I literally can only carry two credit cards and a drivers license in my set up.

Phones fail, batteries die - not having a key card with you is a recipe for getting locked out. So these aren’t silly they are essential backups and a ring is the most convenient form-factor for me. There are some companies that make bracelets too.

I wear exactly 2 rings every day - my wedding band on my left for 21 years, and since I got my first one in 2020 a key to my car on my other hand. If I’m going to court it needs to be professional (Ag or Au) otherwise, it can be black or white ceramic (which in the early days were the only options). Hence, why so many.

Incidentally, this was one of the first products Hansshow ever made for Teslas. I bought my first one from them on 09/01/20.

In the very early days, before I had my first Tesla, there were DIY tutorials on YouTube showing you how to dissolve the card yourself and fashion a crude ring that way.

This was exactly why I got mine. I generally raft a lot during the summer and it's not unheard of losing your phone and not wanting to keep a wallet with you with a proper Tesla card. I also spend an inordinate amount of time at the ski areas during the winter and I find phones dotting the landscape there. Nothing would suck more than losing your phone and you cant get home because you are locked out of your vehicle.
