This is the TMaxx Gloss Liquid Platinum from T Sportline, the precut kit with rollover edges. Its essentially the same color as Pure PPF Platinum, but less than half the price. With the Black Friday coupon, it was about $1500. This was my first time to wrap a vehicle and I did rush a bit, so there are imperfections here and there, but I’m very satisfied with the finished product. I can’t say much about the quality relative to other brands, but this stuff is very thick, hard to puncture, responded well to heating, has great adhesive, and looks spectacular. I’m not sure what would have been better for twice the price.
The yellow decals were made on a Cricut Explore from a roll of Avery Dennison SW900 Gloss Yellow vinyl from Amazon, then coated with a spray enamel to keep the small lettering from coming off. It looks great in person. The black on the sides was done with a roll of 3M 2080 vinyl from Amazon and knifeless tape. It definitely has a different finish and shows streaks and spots much more than the PPF, so I may end up needing to ceramic coat the whole thing, but I’ll give it time before I do that to see how it holds up like this.
The windows were done at Tint World Pensacola with whatever brand they use in the Ultimate package (“Nano Ceramic IR Plus”), 5% front sides, 10% rear sides, 50% windshield and moonroof. Just the tint job cost about $1800, most of which was the windshield and moonroof, for obvious reasons.
Yellow caliper covers came from Cybergearco. Factory splash guards also installed.
