Mounted the Blizzaks today. I was a little apprehensive about the looks of a slightly smaller 34 inch tire however, I cannot really see a difference. I think they look fine even with the wheel covers Drive home only a few miles but cannot hear any difference in road noise.

Storing the original tires takes up some room. I got them stacked like this in the garage. I know not preferred, anyone here think this is gonna lead to tire damage or probably fine for five months?

Should be fine, they are okay with 3 ton vehicle, I’m sure they will be fine.

How are the blizzaks - what psi do you run them at? I have blizzaks on my other two cars and they have been great in winter. But once it gets above 50 degrees average, change them out, otherwise they wear quickly in hot weather.

Will update on performance once I get them in snow and some miles.

Discount Tire set them at 58-59 psi

You should put them in the corner that the temperature changes the least and not only keep them sealed in plastic but something opaque, to protect them from light. Oxygen, heat, light - they won't like these things.

I've keep tires pretty fresh for years just in black plastic bags, stacked like that. (Although against a foundation wall.)

Oh! Also make sure the stack is even and doesn't have gaps or wobbles or you might find it makes a rather nifty though gross mousetrap.

Thanks. Good advice. Those tires in bags are from our other car. Not really airtight as there’s just a square knot at the top. Bags from tire shop more to keep car interior and clothes cleaner during transport.

Cybertruck is only the second truck I have owned. Never had winter wheels and tires for my other truck (F-150) though we do have winter wheels and tires for the X. Thinking I will just run the stock tires until they need to be replaced and pick up something a little more aggressive to run all year. We do get some good snow here but they do an amazing job keeping the roads cleared.

How responsive do the tires feel? If you quickly sway left and right back and forth, do they feel quick to respond or a delayed and a little floaty?

This is the same setup I have here in Idaho. Haven’t had any real snow yet in the Idaho Falls area though. I’ve put about 600 miles on them, mix of highway and city, and I’m getting 398 wh/mile so far. Before with the stock AT I was getting 374 wh/mile.

I store my tires on a vertical stand. Never a problem. The Blizzaks weren't available when I ordered mine, so I ended up with X-ICE, but I'm pleased with them. This is their 3rd winter.

I’ve had great experience with X ice as well. Wish they made it for the cybertruck as they have an actual tread life warranty, which other snow tires do not.

mounted blizzaks on aftermarket wheels. Now waiting on some snow. Does the higher psi throw any tpms warnings? Currently running at 50 but not sure this is the right pressure e.
