Gotta disagree here that Homelink is better. It has no awareness of a door being open or closed. So with homelink id show up and it would close doors when I want them open. MyQ is $45 a year for a very expensive truck. And works with all doors and cars you have. I have Homeassistant too, but...

I have true 35" tires on mine, stock are 34.5" and I get some rubbing on full turns only. Those spacers might make the difference.

I think you could probably buy a replacement synthetic line and a normal fairlead. But I would call Warn before doing that.

My control box is different than yours, so I’m guessing you didn’t get the superwinch SX12R. Because for that one, when you detach the control box from the SW, the cables are long enough to run to the control box. Mine did come with a ground cable that’s long to run to the battery.

If you wired directly to the 48v, with the down regulator, when you turn the frunk on, that would charge the battery and turn on the lights, no good. You can run the push button switches to the cab, I might do that. That’s more normal for extra lights, what my Bronco has. But with the lack of...
