I hear it in my beast. Washboard dirt roads and any slight bumps can recreate the sound under acceleration. I think the commonly accepted reason is that the beast has a permanent magnet motor in the front, and front biases power under acceleration while the AWD has the permanent magnet motors...
Wow, this sparked a deep memory. I just barely remember Battle Beasts from my childhood. So many toys had those heat press stickers on them at the time.
My PCS started acting up on 3/27. Made an appointment for 4/23. Part wasn't available so appointment was pushed to 5/21. Part still isn't available this week so appointment pushed to 6/22. Hoping it comes in sooner.
Also agree. I see the same salt stains on the front and rear quarter panel leading edges. Power washed with a foam cannon and manual scrubbing mitt, sprayed Iron-X to remove the bulk of the surface contaminants, then Cyberbrite. Removed the salt stains pretty easily. In the past, I've used a...
Not sure if we're supposed to post our results to this thread or start a new one, but here are mine.
Background: Foundation Beast in Michigan, second winter. First year I cleaned all the post winter road contamination with a wash and synthetic clay bar. Did a good job removing nearly all the...
Mine stopped for a squirrel, but I didn't get a chance to see the visualization. Latest FSD visualizes deer as deer like looking animals. Previous version has shown them as people, and before that, they looked like tall dogs.
Update on my PCS failure. I had had a service appointment scheduled for today but recieved a call from my service center yesterday. They said they didn't have the PCS and would like to reschedule the appointment for when the part came in. I was also getting the cantrail and light bar recall work...
Yeah, I posted a jack with built in safety stand earlier in this thread, and I noticed this year how much sideways force is exerted on the jack when changing tires. Even with the extension as high as needed to engage the jack point, you still need to lift the vehicle enough where lateral forces...
Until there's a recall or tsb, I don't think they'll proactively fix the issue. Before either of those two happen, they'll need to identify the failure mechanism and determine the scope of affected vehicles.
Requesting my PCS failure badge too. Noticed 24A charging from mobile charger, wall charger, and powershare wall charger. Made a service appointment on 3/27 to cover PCS replacement, cantrail replacement, OEM light bar recall, and passenger window adjustment. Service set for 4/23. Unable to...
I just placed an order and will post results. Just coming out of a salty Michigan winter with only 1 or 2 touchless car washes in the season. I see some contaminant discoloration that usually requires a synthetic clay bar to remove so I'm interested in seeing how this product will perform...
